Mary Moore Fair Linens

Heirloom quality linens that will grace your church for years to come, hand embroidered Mary Moore Fair Linens are treasures of devoted artistry

  • Pure white top covering for the altar, made of linen and hand embroidered in Madeira, Portugal
  • Adorned with five hand-embroidered crosses, representing the crucifixion wounds suffered by Christ
  • Crosses are positioned at altar corners (2") and center (3")
  • Embroidered symbols shown are available in three price classes, based on complexity of designs
  • Hand-sewn hems are 1 1/2" front and back, 3" at the ends
  • Hand embroidered borders for end drops are also available - click Order to view
  • Typically cut to fit the altar "exactly" from front to back, and to hang over the sides to a point at least one-third the distance to the floor - 18" is a common end drop length
