These fine Paschal Candles carry design images that are printed on durable poly sheets, then applied to the candle body with adhesive. We call them appliques. It is a good technology that we have used effectively for many years. Now, we are adopting a new technology that allows us to print designs directly on the candle body which yields higher quality images at lower cost. We still have appliques on hand, though, and while they last you can purchase a permanent, liquid Paschal candle for substantial savings.
